Don’t be surprised
If I’m not waiting with open arms
When you finally decide
To let me into your heart.

Don’t be surprised
If you getting down
On your hands and knees
Begging for forgiveness
And another chance
Doesn’t sway my decision

Don’t be surprised
If I laugh in your face
When you tell me
You’ve really changed

Don’t be surprised
If I tell you no.
I don’t want to get hurt
Because that’s all you ever did
Hurt me
And I’m not going to let it happen
Ever again.
