Loving a Wall (A Poem that Doesn't Rhyme)

**This is the first in my "Love to Alexandra" series.  Everyone mentioned in this series is real.**

I love her.  These feelings I shan't hold back longer.
I see her across the hall at mealtimes.
My Alexandra, my beautiful Alexandra; belonging to another.

She has found something in him,
That I happened to find in her.
He never speaks to her, yet she does not stop her love for him.
My Alexandra, my beautiful Alexandra; loving another.

She regards me as no more than a friend.
My love, interred, only to be resurrected by her.
Alone, in my own cell made of flesh.
My love for her, bound within my own cell made of flesh.
My Alexandra, my beautiful Alexandra; the wall I love.

My love shall never feel light.
Nor shall it see her words.
All senses are one, when I am next to her.
My heart tells me what to do and what to think.
My brain is useless when I see her.  Her beauty defies reason.
My Alexandra, my beautiful Alexandra; only one forever.
