Unreachable
Leave, run away, disappear without a trace,
So everything between us will be erased.
Hide far and wide, throw a veil over your life,
Until you believe all we had was a lie.
Someday you may tire of running, take a break.
But, the truth will still be there, isn’t that great?
It’s there every time you close your eyes at night,
Memories creep in doors you thought were locked tight.
You are missing from my life, but not my heart.
I feel you next to me, though we are apart.
