The Suicide Love Poem

This poem is unlike
Others that you've read.
This is the one that finishes
The story's lonely stead.

I have tried and I have failed,
With great Samuel's might!
But the best thing to do now,
Is to turn day into night.

My hopes and dreams lay shattered,
Like old clay pots in a trash bag.
Proudly showing,
Like an old tattered flag.

What was going to be
Never happened, never will.
All I can hope for
Is a quick, painless kill.

You are the girl I love
With every daybreak and sunset.
But no longer I rejoice,
My story isn't quite finished just yet.

Remember my love,
Who I am and who I was.
For here I go now
Into death's mighty jaws.
