Shouting Out to the World
This new feeling that I have encountered, strange as it may seem, makes me
Want to yell out to the heavens! I feel as if am born anew to another.
Alexandra! Alexandra! Her name is rattling about my head.
Yes! It is her who freed me from my solitude and self-doubt!
Together we now walk, no longer separated, no longer apart.
Her heart in me and mine in hers, and together we live!
That damned clock of Satin, however, drives us apart. But behold!
Not even in the devil's acursed power can we truly be separate!
Time slips away when we are together, but we do not slip away
From each other. Bound to each other by a word, touch, letter.
There her name sits. Upon my hand. God! Can this be love?
As strange as it may seem; together we remain!
This new feeling which she has stored in my heart for eternity, shall
Remain as an ever-fixed mark of our love. Alexandra! Love!
