The Stone Throwers:
A Man-Hunt For Vietnam War Draft Evaders

David.

What can you say and how can you cope when your best friend makes a transatlantic phone call to say "goodbye"? That was the saddest loneliest feeling I've experienced since I lost my husband six years ago. I was working at the Ansin Family Art Gallery in Miramar Cultural Center when I got that call that left me devastated.

David was calling from his hospital bed in St. Georges's Hospital in Tooting, South London. He was very calm and explained that he was diagnosed with myleoma and the doctors said that he had two months to live! I had no idea that he was suffering from any illness.
